  3. This will bring up its Device Manager. Go to its top menu. Then, click on “View”.
  4. Now, select “Show hidden devices”.
  5. Right-click on the “Ports (COM & LPT)”  tab. 
  6. Then, select “Properties”.
  7. Thereafter, click on “Port Settings” to open its Settings window. 
  8. After that, select “Use any interrupt assigned to the port”.
  9. Now, search for the “Enable legacy Plug and Play detection” option. Tick mark the corresponding Checkbox. Then, click “OK”.
  10. Finally, Restart your Computer. 

Turn Printer Online

  1. Click on the Windows “Start” button. 
  2. Look for the “Control Panel” tab on the following window. Click on it to go to your Computer’s Control Panel. 
  3. Select “Devices and Printers”.
  4. On the following window, a list of connected devices will appear. As such, select your Canon Printer. 
  5. Right-click on it. Make sure that the option for “Use Printer Offline” is not selected. However, if it shows selected. Then, click on it to deselect it.

  3. This will bring up a Search Result window. Go to its right-hand panel. Then, select “Print Spooler”.
  4. Right-click on it. Thereafter, opt for “Properties”.
  5. Click on the “General” tab. 
  6. Here, you must click on the “Startup Type” drop-down box. Select “Automatic”.
  7. Click on “Apply”. Then, select “OK”.
  8. After that, close down this window.
